How custom orders work
Most Squid’nserts are stock sizes you can order straight from the finder. Everything else is a custom order, built by hand and quoted before you pay anything.
What we make to order
- Different lock-ring profiles: Negative G and Proline V-ring, Spec RC Comp Cut, and the V-style ring on Amazon carbon-fiber wheels. We do try to keep popular sizes in limited stock.
- Stretched fits: a 1.9 tire on a 2.2 wheel. We do try to keep a couple of the popular requested sized in stock.
- Different firmness for heavier or lighter crawlers.
- Inserts matched to your lock-ring width. Have a wider wheel or a narrower wheel? Hit us up.
- Different quantities than a set of four.
- International orders, quoted with shipping.
What we don’t make
One-off tires. If you’ve cut, narrowed, or otherwise modified a tire so that nobody else runs it, we can’t fit an insert to it. Custom work takes days of trial and error for fitment, and is for production tires we’re likely to see again.
Lead time and pricing
- Custom orders run one to two weeks, filled first come, first served from a running list.
- No extra charge for custom work. You pay the normal price for the insert size, plus shipping.
- Email us to get on the list, we will put you on the list, and when it’s your turn we’ll email you with a payment link. Reply within 48 hours or we move to the next person on the list.
- Nothing is charged until you pay that link.
